NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village of Unadilla will sell by public sealed bid the following parcel of real property owned by the Village, located on Kilkenny Street in the Village of Unadilla, Otsego County, New York:

Tax Map No.: 334.14-1-8.00
Size: 5.69 acres
Description: The property is irregular in shape and is suitable for potential development or acquisition by adjoining property owners.

Terms of Sale:

1. The property will be sold as-is, subject to all easements, restrictions, and zoning regulations of record, and shall be sold by means of a Quit Claim Deed.
2. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
3. The successful bidder must submit a deposit of 10% of the winning bid amount at the conclusion of the auction, with the balance due upon closing.

Companies remind customers of the high cost of supply rates set by energy generators, not NYSEG and RG&E, and increase in energy usage are severely impacting high bills this Winter

Customers are urged to take part in a variety of assistance programs to prevent service disconnections

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — February 25, 2025 — New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) and Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) today are reminding customers on the true drivers of high bills this winter season that include soaring supply rates caused by energy generating companies along with increased household usage. NYSEG and RG&E are urging customers to take advantage of a variety of assistance programs to avoid falling behind on bills and disconnections.

SEALED BIDS will be received by the Village of Unadilla, 193 Main St, Unadilla, NY 13849 until 2:00 P.M.., Monday, November 14th, 2022 and opened publicly at 2:05 PM on Tuesday November 15th, 2022 for furnishing unleaded gasoline, diesel fuel, and fuel oil to the Village of Unadilla for use in vehicles, equipment, and buildings of the Village of Unadilla as follows:

• Unleaded Regular Gasoline - 2,500 gallons estimated
• Diesel Fuel - 2,800 gallons estimated
• 60/40 Mix - 3,100 gallons estimated- bi- weekly
• Fuel Oil - 3,800 gallons estimated- Community House
• Fuel Oil - 3,200 gallons estimate- Fire House

Bids shall be submitted on forms provided by the Village. Information for bidders and bid forms can be obtained at the office of the Village Clerk. Bids will be opened and awarded on the evening of the Village Board Meeting on November 15th, 2022 at 6:30 PM at the Firehouse, 77 Clifton St. Unadilla. Bids will be for the period of November 17,2022 – November 1, 2023.

The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
